Apps, arts, digital: what I’m working on

Here’s what I’m working on at the moment.

Last Tuesday I ran sessions at TeenTech in Bristol on designing an app. The sessions were run for 300 12- and-13-year-olds (and their teachers), with Justyn Spooner from Bright Yak. TeenTech helps young teenagers see the career possibilities in science, technology, engineering, maths – and the arts.

I’ve also started an theatre / digital R&D project with The Other Way Works theatre company. It’s an AHRC/CATH funded project, exploring a digital companion to a show which is touring in 2014.

I’m tinkering with a few Arduino things and thinking about the REACT Objects Sandbox theme.

Lastly, I’ve been working at the brilliant Government Digital Service team in London since summer. I wrote a blog post about the work we’re doing helping agencies and government organisations move to GOV.UK.
